White Light: New Equipment For Hire
Home > Hire > New Equipment

We are constantly adding to the range of equipment we have available for hire. Items are added as they are requested by customers, after they've been put to use 'for real' by White Light's Events team, or when we find something that we think might be useful!

If you cannot see the item you need listed here, in the on-line catalogue or in the printed catalogue then please give us a call anyway: you never know...

The Revolution from ETC

Based on the ever-popular Source Four, the Revolution's key strengths for theatre users are its tungsten light-source with built-in dimmer, it's colour scroller (choose the colours you actually want!), it's modular construction allowing different combinations of iris, gobos, shutters or other accessories to be installed, and it's remarkably low-noise operation.

The Alpha Wash Halo from Clay Paky

A new moving light that is already attracting a lot of attention from theatre lighting designers: a 1000W tungsten source with a built-in dimmer, colour mixing, zoom, beam shaping, and a built-in tophat. It's quiet in use, very bright and offers a fantastic range of colours from the gentlest tints to the deepest primaries. It's available for hire or sale now.

The FatFrog from Zero88

For smaller shows, particularly those dealing with a mixture of moving and conventional lights who need 'hands on' control with faders, Zero88's FatFrog might be the ideal choice. White Light's Events team have been using the FatFrog on recent projects; now they're available to hire from White Light.

Vari-Lite VL5

We also have the Vari-Lite VL5 in hire stock. Despite now being a decade old, the VL5 remains a unique lighting tool in many ways, its combination of tungsten lamp, colour mixing, variable beam and near-silent operation making it the perfect choice for many theatrical applications.
