A Busy Year for White Lights Sales Department
London to Lagos, Stratford to Sydney. The sales department of White Light - the UKs leading entertainment lighting hire company - has had a truly international year, supplying equipment to productions and venues throughout the world.
The sales department has handled projects of all scales, from colour orders for school plays to supplying one of the most complex lighting control systems yet seen in the UK. This recently-completed project has equipped the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon Avon with a fully networked, multiple console lighting system based around the Strand 500-series range of consoles. And, showing the range of skills available within the White Light Group of companies, the system was installed by White Lights sister firm The Service Company.
Current sales projects include supplying a new system of IES Dimmers to the Barbican Concert Hall in London, a new LD90 dimmer system to the Bloomsbury Theatre in London, new lighting desks to the Whitehall Theatre and Royal Festival Hall, and a variety of lighting equipment to the Chicken Shed Theatre refurbishment project. White Light are also closely involved in the creation of the new Sadlers Wells Theatre, supplying both conventional and automated lighting equipment.
White Lights strength remains their independence: we are not tied to any one manufacturer, and can therefore offer impartial advice and the best products for a particular project. Through their associate companies they can also support the products they supply: The Service Company install, commission and service products from a huge range of manufacturers, are were recently appointed as the first authorised ETC Service Centre outside North America.
