White Light Launch New Hire Catalogue for the New Millennium
White Light launch the latest version of the British theatre lighting community's leading reference guide at PLASA '99
| Look next to the drawing board or into the shoulder bag of many British theatre lighting designers and technicians and you will find a well-thumbed reference guide: the White Light hire catalogue. More than just a list of weekly rental prices, the catalogue gathers a great deal of the information that those working in lighting need every day into one clearly organised booklet - ring bound so that it stays open at the page you need, small enough to always carry with you.
The latest version of the catalogue, covering the period into the next Millennium, will be launched on the White Light Stand (Stand F4) at the 1999 PLASA Show, which runs from 5th-8th September at Earls Court. The 1999-2000 catalogue will be more comprehensive than ever with revised and updated equipment lists and reference sections. The new catalogue also features a new design, with the pages held in a compact, Filofax-style 6-ring binder. This will allow new or updated information to be inserted as required, allowing the catalogue to remain up-to-date and accurate at all times. And for those who carry out all of their design work on their laptop rather than on paper, the catalogue will also be available on the White Light web site, www.whitelight.ltd.uk, from the start of the PLASA Show. Commenting on the new design, White Light's General Manager said "the pace at which lighting equipment now changes meant that we had to find a way to ensure that our popular hire catalogue remained up-to-date throughout its life. Our new design achieves that aim and, with the catalogue also available on our Web site, we hope that lighting designers and technicians will continue to turn to White Light for the information they need." |
