Supporting Lighting From London to New York:
White Light Sponsor the Broadway Lighting Master Classes
White Light return to New York as sponsors of the 7th Annual Broadway Lighting Master Classes.
| White Light, the UK's leading supplier of entertainment lighting equipment, ventured overseas at the start of December as one of the sponsors of the Seventh Annual Broadway Lighting Master Classes in New York City.
Created by legendary Broadway figure Sonny Sonnenfeld and now run by Intertec, the publishers of Entertainment Design magazine, the Broadway Lighting Master Classes feature lectures and workshops on every aspect of lighting a Broadway show led by such distinguished designers as Jules Fisher, Peggy Eisenhauer, Beverly Emmons, Chris Parry, Wendall Harrington and Vivien Leone. This is the third year that White Light has been involved with the event; the company's contribution this year included supplying one of its Training Initiative Resource Packs to each participant in the Master Classes. The Resource Pack, launched at this year's PLASA Show, includes the new stencil sets developed by White Light with White Light Group members Modelbox and The Moving Light Company, as well as technical pens, paperwork templates and other reference material. The Packs proved to be a great hit and were very favourably commented upon by many of the 125 attendees. For those who missed the Master Class, next year's event is already being planned for December 2000. Alternatively, the Resource Pack and new White Light stencils are available from White Light's Sales Department!
