When the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London decided on the automated lighting equipment that would best fit their demanding requirements, they turned to The Moving Light Company to supply it: equipment that included City Theatrical AutoYokes and Robert Juliat fresnels with colour scrollers in Licht Technik automated yokes. The Moving Light Company not only supplied the equipment but commissioned it in the Opera House prior to the theatre's re-opening.

Now the Royal Opera House have decided to appoint a company to service and support the automated lighting equipment - and once again they have turned to The Moving Light Company. The newly signed contract will see MLCo servicing the Royal Opera House's extensive new automated lighting rig - as well as providing emergency call-out and support services to ensure that the show goes on as plotted, even given the Opera House's hectic schedule of constant changeovers between shows.

"We are delighted that The Royal Opera House have chosen us to support them in their use of the latest automated lighting technology" comments The Moving Light Company's General Manager, Bryan Raven, "since it shows that they were happy with the level of service and support they received during the supply and commissioning phases of the project. This contract also demonstrates that The Moving Light Company's long experience with this technology on productions of all types means that it is ideally placed to offer independent advice and support as ever more theatres discover the benefits that automated lighting can offer.
