Technology Brings White Light Group Members Closer Together
New leased lines bring closer links between White Light Group members in Fulham and Parsons Green.

As the White Light Group has expanded, so it has outgrown its original base in Filmer Road, Fulham, and Group members such as The Moving Light Company and The Service Company have found new homes in nearby Parsons Green. At PLASA '98, a plan to find a new home that would bring the various Group members back together under one roof was announced. As is so often the case when buying a new home, contracts fell through - so, though that still remains the long term plan, for now White Light have had to turn to technology to bring the Group members closer together. This technology is in the form of a new 2Mbit leased line linking White Light in Filmer Road to the other companies in Parsons Green, allowing instant, high quality voice and data communication between the two premises. At the same time, The White Light Group has installed two new thirty-way ISDN lines to improve its connectivity with the outside world. As a result of this, White Light's main phone number is being supplemented by a series of new Hotline numbers giving direct access to the company's hire and sales departments. The Hire Hotline is 020 7348 6777; the Sales Hotline is 020 7348 6888. The accounts department can also be reached directly, on 020 7348 6800. The new telephone numbers complement the new email system introduced in June this year in allowing easy access to specific departments within White Light.
