ShowMagic stores backing tracks are stored on its internal hard disk. These are stored as 'wave' files and are of CD quality. With Midi control ShowMagic also allows you to control external devices such as reverb and other effect units.
Lighting cues are also stored on the hard disk. ShowMagic includes descriptions of moving light fixtures, allowing these to be easily controlled by the system. ShowMagic sends DMX512 control to dimmers or moving light fixtures.
Sequences are easily built up and synchronised to 1/25th of a second -no more messing about trying to push several buttons at once, it is all there, leaving performers to perform.
ShowMagic will communicate with other devices via RS232. Video machines, DVD players and projectors are now easily controllable.
The latest addition to ShowMagic is digital video. Libraries of video clips, all at DVD quality, can now be stored on the hard disk, replayed at anytime in the ShowMagic program and sent to projectors, monitors and video walls.
