Which is why members of the White Light Group are currently following the trade show circuit around the world. This year's journey began quite close to home, at the ABTT Trade Show in London in early April, where White Light and The Moving Light Company demonstrated the latest additions to their hire stocks to an enthusiastic audience.
Next stop was further afield: in Shanghai, China, for PLASA Shanghai. Both White Light and its specialist architectural lighting division, Enliten, are exhibiting at this show, with Enliten anticipating interest in their theatre-style architectural lighting products including the award-winning HQI Source Four Conversion Kit and the acclaimed Callisto and Juno exterior profile spots.
From Shanghai it is back to London for a brief rest before setting up for the 2000 PLASA Lighting & Sound Show at Earls Court, which runs from 10th-13th September. Every member of the White Light Group, including White Light, The Moving Light Company, The Service Company and Modelbox, will be exhibiting at the show with many new products anticipated... along with the return of the popular White Light bar with its own, specially created beer!
And then it will be on to Las Vegas in America for LDI 2000, running from October 20th-22nd. White Light and Enliten will be exhibiting on booth number 3343, with the full range of Enliten architectural products and White Light VSFX and WaveFX optical effects on show. The show will also provide an opportunity to catch up with the latest products in the American market, so that the most interesting and useful ones can be made available in the UK.
