Supplying All Levels Of The Industry:
A Busy Summer at White Light Sales
White Light Sales supplies new equipment to all levels of the industry, from drama colleges to world-renowned concert halls

White Light
It's been a busy spring and summer period at White Light's Sales Office, which has been dealing with projects of a wide range of scales from the UK's leading drama colleges up to the country's most famous concert halls.

To the newly re-opened Vanburgh Theatre at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, White Light Sales has supplied a selection of new equipment from Strand Lighting, including two Pirouette PC automated lanterns, 28 SL 15/32 and 12 SL 23/50 profile spotlights, 24 Cantata Fs, 4 Alto Fs and 2 Quartet Fs. All of the units were supplied fully prepared and ready-to-go by White Light.

Meanwhile across in the City of London, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, chief electrician Steve Huttly has been expanding his stock of equipment once again. Having purchased High End StudioSpots and StudioColors from White Light earlier in the year, he has now purchased two Strand Pirouette PCs to add to the two units the School already owns, one Selecon Pacific 90 degree profile spotlight, and two Pani BP5 projectors to fill the near-constant demand for projection in the School's operatic productions.

Next door to Guildhall, the Barbican Concert Hall will be undergoing a refurbishment during the summer. As part of this, it will be upgrading its lighting inventory, and White Light will be supplying a wide range of equipment from Robert Juliat, High End and ETC.

White Light's Sales team is also maintaining its close working relationship with London's Royal Albert Hall, to which White Light have already supplied new Robert Juliat Cyrano followspots. Now, White Light Sales are to supply the venue with a new houselight dimming system. The system will be based around a 96-way ETC Sensor dimming rack together with Unison control stations as specified by Mark Jones. The installation is being overseen by White Light's Peter Threadgold.

In addition to these and many other projects, White Light Sales are delighted to have been appointed as the exclusive UK distributors for products from The Smoke Factory (including the Spaceball and Captain K smoke machines) and Look Solutions (including the Tiny-Fogger miniature smoke machine and acclaimed Unique haze machine), and are continuing to enjoy success with the Robert Juliat range of equipment, for which they were appointed UK distributor earlier in the year.
