The move will bring almost all of the Group’s member companies back together under one roof after several years spread across a variety of sites in Fulham. Occupying the new building will be White Light Hire, White Light Sales, The Moving Light Company, The Service Company, trade show specialists Colourhouse, computer aided design pioneer Modelbox and architectural lighting specialists Enliten. White Light North will continue to operate from its base in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, as before.
The new address for these companies will be 20 Jubilee Way, London SW19 3WL. The new main telephone number will be 020 8254 4800, with the new main fax number 020 8254 4801. New direct-dial numbers will be available for each company, and will be listed on the White Light web site.
The White Light Group’s new home includes 35,000 square feet of warehouse space, 10,000 square feet of office space, and offers ample parking and easy truck access. As well as allowing the hire and sales stocks of the various Group members to live under one roof, the extra space will be used to provide demonstration and meetings areas as well as a newly enlarged trade counter. The new building can be reached by car by following the A24, by taking the Northern Line to South Wimbledon station, by taking rail services to Wimbledon station, by a variety of local buses, or using the new Wimbledon to Croydon TramLink line, alighting at Morden Road. We’re also still very close to the centre of London, and so will continue to provide our quick response to the needs of West End productions.”
The White Light Group’s move is currently scheduled to take place during October; until then operations will continue to be run from Filmer Road as usual.
