White Light at the 2004 PLASA Show
New products, new staff on stand G29

White Light
Leading entertainment lighting supplier White Light will be at the PLASA Show once again this year, showing new products and introducing new members of staff on stand G29.

New products on show will include the Digital Festoon System, a radical rethink of conventional festoon lighting that allows each lamp along a festoon to be individually dimmed, giving the possibility of creating stunning lighting displays from apparently simple strings of lights. The Digital Festoon System can be programmed using a laptop or can be controlled from a DMX lighting console for integration with a lighting rig. The Digital Festoon System carries both 48V lamp power and DMX using a patented data system; up to 200 lamps can be individually controlled on a single cable from each Digital Festoon System power unit. Offering exciting opportunities to lighting designers, the Digital Festoon System has been nominated for the PLASA Show’s Award for Innovation, and will therefore be on show in the show’s Innovation Gallery as well as on the White Light stand.

Also on show will be the new DMX-controlled version of White Light’s popular VSFX optical effects system. Fully compatible with all existing VSFX projectors and accessories, the new DMX-VSFX drive unit features built-in DMX control, allowing easier integration in DMX controlled lighting rigs.

White Light’s stand will also provide a home at the show for many of the companies distributed in the UK by White Light, including ELC Lighting with their range of DMX and network products and accessories, Rainbow colour scrollers, Robert Juliat lanterns and smoke machines from Look Solutions and The Smoke Factory.

As well as products, there will be people, allowing visitors to catch up with staff from all areas of White Light. White Light will also be introducing its newest member of staff: Julie Harper, formerly of DHA Lighting, is now the Sales Manager for all of the products which White Light is the exclusive UK distributor.

All that, and the return of the ever-popular White Light bar!

The 2004 PLASA Show runs from September 12th-15th at Earl’s Court in London. Further details about the show can be found at www.plasashow.com. Further information about White Light can be found here on the website, or find us on stand G29 at the show.
