White Light Congratulates Olivier Award Nominees
2005 Olivier Award Nominations Announced

White LightOlivier AwardOlivier Awards The nominees for this year's Laurence Olivier Awards, presented by the Society of London Theatres, were announced today. White Light would like to congratulate lighting designers Paule Constable, Howard Harrison, Jean Kalman and Paul Pyant, together with the nominees in all of the other categories.

The shows nominated in the lighting category were His Dark Materials at the National Theatre, designed by Paule Constable; Mary Poppins at the Prince Edward Theatre, designed by Howard Harrison; the Almeida's Festen, now at the Lyric, designed by Jean Kalman, and the RSC's All's Well That Ends Well which played at the Gielgud Theatre and was designed by Paul Pyant.

Both Festen and All's Well used lighting equipment from White Light; White Light's equipment could also be found on The Woman in White (nominated for Best Set Design for William Dudley and Best New Musical), The Producers (also nominated for Best New Musical and both Best Director and Best Choreographer for Susan Stroman), Bombshells, Endgame, The Goat and By The Bog Of Cats.

The 2005 Olivier Awards will be presented at the Hilton, Park Lane on Sunday 20th February. Further information about the awards can be found at the Society of London Theatres website, www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk.
