Leading entertainment lighting supplier White Light will be exhibiting at the ABTT Theatre Show 2005, which takes place on June 15th and 16th at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London, SW1. White Lights appearance continues the companys long involvement with the show, stretching right back to its stand at the first ABTT Show in 1978. Then, the products on show included Strands Patt 123 and 743 fresnels. Now, White Light will be showing examples of the very latest lighting technology, including conventional lighting, automated lighting and LED lighting. There will be so much to show, in fact, that White Light will this year be spread across two stands, stand 58 in the Assembly Hall and stand 99 in the Lawrence Hall. Conventional lighting will include the Arri Studio 1K and Studio 2K fresnels, marking White Lights appointment as exclusive UK distributor for Arri theatre lighting products. Moving lights will include the new, tungsten Alpha Wash Halo washlight from Clay Paky, attracting a great deal of attention from lighting designers seeking a bright, low-noise, colour-mixing washlight based on a tungsten light source. LED lighting will take the form of the Chroma-Q ColorBlock, which has been put to spectacular use on a number of recent projects lit by White Lights events team. Also on show will be products from manufacturers for which White Light is the exclusive UK distributor, including lanterns and follow-spots from Robert Juliat, DMX distribution products from ELC, colour scrollers from Rainbow and smoke and haze machines from Look Solutions. Representatives from ELC and Robert Juliat will join White Lights staff on stand. White Lights main stand (99) themselves will use another product line for which White Light has recently been appointed distributor - the Prolyte range of trussing. White Lights own product, the Digital Festoon System, will also be on show. Controlled from a PC or via DMX, the Digital Festoon System allows individual control of every lamp along a length of festoon, allowing dramatic lighting effects to be created quickly and easily. The Digital Festoon System won an Award for Innovation at last years PLASA Show. White Light can be found on stands 58 and 99 at the ABTT Show 2005, with stand 58 conveniently located close to the bar!
