Leading entertainment lighting specialist White Light will be repeating the success of its 2004 Graduates Open Day this June, holding the 2005 Graduates Open Day on Wednesday June 22nd at its Wimbledon, south London base.

Open to anyone contemplating a design or technical career in the entertainment lighting industry, the Open Day will feature Guest Speakers already working in lighting, seminars offering tips and explanations of lighting techniques and the chance to get 'hands on' with some of the latest lighting equipment, including products from MA Lighting, Martin, Rosco, Selecon, Strand and Zero88. Visitors will also be able to discuss a life in lighting with White Light staff and those already established in the industry during the day and over lunch.

The 2004 Open Day was a great success attended by visitors from schools and drama colleges across the country, who enjoyed the chance to talk lighting with staff from White Light as well as guest speakers including Nick Moran from the Central School of Speech and Drama, and lighting designer Paule Constable - this year's Olivier Award winner for best lighting.

"Today's students are tomorrow's lighting people," comments White Light's Bryan Raven, "and we look forward to meeting them on June 22nd. Last year's event proved an enormous success, and we hope that this year's Open Day will be even more popular."

The 2005 White Light Graduates Open Day will run from 11am-5pm on Wednesday 22nd June at White Light in Wimbledon. White Light is easily accessible by road, or by train, tube, bus and even tram - full details of how to get to White Light can be found here.
